JOHN SCHNELLER<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am asking for your vote for State Representative from Bedford, District 2, in the General Election on November 5, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am an entrepreneur and presently a partner and Chief Financial Officer at Finanova Financial Services, a financial technology firm. I have almost three decades of experience in financial analysis, banking, and executive management positions. In addition to practical experience, I received a BA in history from UMass Amherst, a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, and an MBA from Cornell\u2019s Johnson Graduate School of Management. <\/p>\n

I have enjoyed serving the Bedford community as a member of the Bedford Town Council, Bedford School Board, Energy Commission and School Curriculum Committee. As a volunteer I have coached Cannons lacrosse here in Bedford and have spent several years as a freshman lacrosse coach as a member of Bishop Guertin’s nationally recognized program. I have been a Bedford Men’s Club member for almost fifteen years. As part of that charitable organization I may have sold you a Men’s Club Christmas tree, cooked you a burger on Memorial Day or helped fund a local sports, scouting, educational program or scholarship for you, your child or a charity in which you may be involved. <\/p>\n

My wife Doreen and I have been married for 20 years. We have raised our two boys aged 17 and 19 here in Bedford. We enjoy skiing and camping in our beautiful New Hampshire mountains, taught our boys to swim at the Bedford Bluffs and have practiced marksmanship at Bedford\u2019s Pointer Fish and Game Club. Our boys are both Eagle Scouts, a goal and achievement that could not have been accomplished without the support of the greater Bedford Community and a reason we continue to be involved with the preservation of our beautiful Granite State. <\/p>\n

Doreen and I believe that successful education is achieved at the local level. Collaboration between hard-working, dedicated teachers and administrators, working side-by-side with involved parents and children is required for true educational success and is the reason I served on the Bedford School Board and Curriculum Committee. Our oldest son graduated from Bedford High School and attends Hillsdale College while our younger son is a senior at Bishop Guertin High School. Our family happily attends Bethany Covenant Church here in Bedford. <\/p>\n
